I came to coffee by over-researching a grinder and noticing how many buying guides had winners but not disqualifiers. My editing work asks what would have to be true for a recommendation to be wrong.
At Online Coffee Guide, buying and comparison pages need to carry their reasoning: what was compared, which criteria mattered, which failure modes would change the verdict, and how current the evidence is.
I have not worked for a coffee company, gear brand, or retailer. That distance matters on buying pages: the recommendation should be written first, and commercial context should be disclosed rather than allowed to steer the verdict.
